AM Presentation Overview: “Whiz Quiz and Fake Bake.” Rick will discuss how offenders attempt to beat UA testing. Rick will also be discussing synthetic drugs and will allow time for a question/answer session to review any topics/items in more detail if requested. Rick is extremely knowledgeable in many areas related to chemicals and will provide valuable insight into these topics.
Presenter: Rick Moldenhauer, MS, LADC, ICADC, LPCC is a Treatment Services Consultant at the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division, DHS. Rick has over 25 years of direct care experience in a wealth of settings involving chemical dependency treatment. He is on a variety of State and Federal initiatives involving best practices and committees for various purposes. He is an author, frequent speaker, and technical assistant in quality delivery of chemical dependency services.
PM Presentation Overview: “Collaboration- the Key to Successful Outcomes.” This brief training will focus on a number of topics to better understand the process of treatment and the expectations of clients in order to improve client outcomes. As organizations and clients become increasingly complex, our jobs and the nature of our work is constantly changing.
What you can expect from this training:
• Understanding the treatment alliance and the importance it has in outcomes.
• What to expect from treatment centers and what they are unable to provide.
• What improves outcomes for clients?
• The trends on chemical use with examples of actual cases.
Presenter: Paige Salyards, LADC. LSW., Program Director, Center For Alcohol and Drug Treatment. She has 15 years in the field of addictions. She has worked in collaboration with Woodland Hills for the past 10 years providing addictions counseling to the youth. She is the director of a women’s extended care, women’s sober house, pathological gambling program and assertive community treatment.
